Hyundai Motor India Ltd (Hyundai), a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company, has reportedly signed a new collaboration agreement with the Indian arm of French fleet managing & operational car leasing firm, ALD Automotive (ALD) to bring car leasing solutions to India.
Reports cite, the flexible car leasing solutions would be facilitating potential customers such as working professionals, salaried individuals, corporates, small-to-medium scale enterprises an attractive solution to owning a car.
According to reports, the proposed leasing services would be made available across Hyundai’s complete vehicle model line-up. The benefits of leasing out cars to customers include no financial risk, no upfront cost, efficient tax management, no insurance & maintenance hassles and easy upgradation. The leased vehicles would be made available for a minimum of two years and will go up to five years based upon the vehicle model & the city.
The Executive Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyundai Motor India, S.J. Ha stated that the car leasing business is quickly picking up pace across India and facilitates great prospects. S.J. The Chief Executive Officer & Director of ALD Automotive India, Suvajit Karmakar stated that the company is extremely proud & thrilled to forge a partnership with Hyundai. The company is confident that the new association would allow it to explore new service & product offerings and bring car leasing to the next level across the Indian car market. Karmakar added that the deal would further reinforce the company’s position as a leading leasing service provider.
Financial terms pertaining to the collaboration agreement have not been unveiled by any of the parties involved yet.
